A small chapel nestled in the hills above Thiézac, famous thanks to Anne of Austria, who, despairing of being able to produce an heir to the throne, came here to make her devotions, while taking the waters at Vic. A year later, Louis XIV was born...
Discover this charming little mountain chapel. This ancient pilgrimage chapel appears to have been built in the late 12th or early 13th century and restored in the 15th, following the wars that devastated the region. Its architecture is reminiscent of a buron. When you visit, look up: the chapel has a painted decoration bearing the date 1667, restored at the end of the Second Empire and again around 1930. The chapel is open to the public - just ask for the key in any shop in Thiézac.
