Parish church built between 1517 and 1527 by the inhabitants of Pailherols. The bell tower wall and the first 2 north chapels were added in 1646, while the 2 south chapels, the south door replacing the original west door and the sacristy were built between 1684 and 1687. Restoration of the church in 1898/1899 by Aigueparses, interior decoration in 1902 by Granier. For the record, the church became a major pilgrimage site, as it was and still is home to a Miraculous Virgin, to whom a legend is attached. It is said to have been brought here by a peddler who bought it around 1527 and had it blessed. The statue is said to have performed a number of miracles.
