Description

Chapel built from 1960 to 1964 by Aérium des Croix, Fondation Jean MERMOZ. 3 km from Vic sur Cère. Route de La Chapelle Olmet 15800 Vic-Sur-Cère 44°57'31.66 "N - 2°36'57.05" E Key to be obtained from Mme Bergous, living just below the chapel.

Its particularity is that it was created for children, and involved people from the world of crafts, art, politics and religion. The plans were blessed by Pius XII during an audience in Rome, and Paul VI gave his apostolic blessing at the inauguration. Today, it belongs to the Association des Amis de la chapelle Notre Dame des Croix d'Olmet, whose aim is to keep alive the chapel's religious vocation and cultural influence.
