This volcanic site is very impressive: it is a formidable testimony to the volcanic activity of the Cantal region, and consists of a pile of volcanic gneiss blocks.

To see this superb site, take the short hiking trail "La Porte du Lion" from the hamlet of Lagoutte, in Thiézac.
