European Bison Reserve

Description

Spend a day with the European Bison! Immerse yourself in the way of life of this prehistoric animal on the new walking trail and/or during a visit by horse-drawn carriage or sleigh (in winter) lasting around 1 h in their natural environment.

The European bison reserve offers a unique one-day experience for families, individuals or groups to meet this extraordinary prehistoric animal during your vacation in the Margeride. Take a seat in the horse-drawn carriage and let us guide you through the discovery of a reserve. In winter, the landscape is transformed, and you'll be invited to follow the tour on board a sleigh. New for this year : a walking tour to immerse yourself in the world of the European bison! Restaurant, snack bar, bar and store on site

Opening dates

• From 14/12/2025 to 30/04/2026 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends between 10 am and 5 pm.
  Reservations essential during school vacations and public holidays.

Prices

• Adult: from 24 € (Adult carriage (14 years and over) + pedestrian ride.)
  Child: 15 € (Children's horse-drawn carriage (3 - 13 years) + walking tour.).
