Founded in 1946, the Coopérative Fromagère de Thérondels continues the tradition of raw milk cheese-making in the Carladez region. In the mornings, the cheesemakers at the Coopérative de Thérondels make Cantal AOP made with raw milk, Thérondels cheese made with whole, raw milk, Aligot de Thérondels and Tome de Thérondels. From the store, you can watch the cheesemakers at work and then sample the various specialities. Don't forget to book your visit!
